99 x 44 cm Condition Wang Xuehao (1754-1832), China, dated 1831, Landscape in the literati style. Hanging scroll, gold pigment on tinted paper. Signature: "Painted in the style of Dachi (Huang Gongwang, 1269-1354) and Mei Daoren (Wu Zhen, 1280-1354) in the Yihua-Studio of the Shannan laoshi by the seventy-eight-year-old Xuehao." Two seals: "Jiaoqi", "Seal of Wang Xuehao" (Wang Xuehao yin). Wang Xuehao, style name Jiaoqi, was a well known landscape painter in the tradition of Wang Yuanqi (1642-1715).
