Two early copper engravings depicting Southwell Minster, the first engraved by Wenceslaus Hollar (Bohemian, 1607-1677), after Richard Hall (British, active 1676-77), from William Dugdale's 'Monasticon Anglicanum', framed and glazed, the second after Leonard Knyff (Dutch, 1650-1722), 'The Collegiate Church of Southwell in Nottinghamshire', 1724, from 'Britannia Illustrata', inscribed XXXVI to lower right, framed and glazed, (2) First overall 44.5 x 55.5cm, second overall 64.5 x 77cm Condition: Both prints are in good condition commensurate with age, the first shows very light foxing and some dirt, sits flat to the mount, frame is slightly rubbed, the second shows some creasing and a number of stains, mount very slightly warped, rubbing to frame
