A 19th century white metal filigree basket possibly Greek, unmarked of oval form with petal shaped sides and fitted with a division surmounted by a cast perched bird bearing a gilt reserve dated 1882 and bearing initials, attached a wirework handle with cast bird, on bracket feet height 23.5 cm., weight approx. 15.6 Condition: Black salt corrosion spot. Some petals slightly bent and joints have broken and need repairing
