A Chinese blue and white porcelain “Dragon” dish 青花龙纹洗 Qianlong six-character seal mark and of the period 乾隆六字款 清 乾隆 With a shallow sloped cavetto, the interior and exterior painted with dragons pursuing pearls among scrolling flames, the underside inscribed with the six-character seal mark. (Dia: 6 1/2 in.) Provenance: Property from the estate of Roger E. Birch Condition report: Approximately 2 1/2 in. hairline to rim with associated partially filled chip to outer rim at 10:00, another hairline approximately 1 in. to rim at 12:00, small glaze pit to exterior.
