A pair of North Iranian bronze bulls, Kaluraz, Gilan, 3rd millennium B.C.Solid cast bronze animals. The design of the bodies still shows strong geometric elements. The heads, for example, are dominated by large almond-shaped eyes. The larger one with powerful horns (the right horn with a small casting defect), the ears protruding horizontally to the side. The wide open mouth also typically for these Kaluraz figures. Impressive pair with beautiful dark green noble patina, partly with remains of encrustation. Intact. Height 11 cm and 6 cm.
