The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick, flaring rim with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward the close mouth rim, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of horse over thrashing Lishui wavy waves. The horse is one of the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac and symbolizes speed, power and perseverance. The horse is usually depicted as the bearer of good things, may you immediately be appointed a high ranking position. The horse is known in ancient times to symbolize perseverance, speed, power, and strength.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
