Dimensions: 6.5in H x 6in WAntique Chinese bronze ritual Jue wine vessel. The deep body is raised on three blade-shaped supports. Scored geometric patterns line the vessels outer diameter. Taotie mask is centered on a third flange while the other is centered on a graph, possibly reading tian (heaven), cast under the handle which issues from a bovine mask. The two posts that rise from the rim are surmounted by rounded conical caps cast with whorl motifs. There is extensive encrustation covering the exterior.
