The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick, flaring rim with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward the close mouth rim, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white color which contrast against alum red color, depicted of imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, attracting unceasingly admiration.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a four under glazed red script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue ring lines. Made in The Years Jiajing Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
