After retirement he focused his efforts on revitalizing the local area and philanthropy. His entrepreneurial drive continually motivated him to privately invest in real estate ventures and many other businesses. In addition to his impressive business acumen, he was a man of artistic pursuits, collecting antiques, porcelains, oriental rugs, and artwork of many different genres. Dimensions: Height: 7 cm, Diam.: 10.5 cmChinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Blue and white Flowers Motif Porcelain Water Pot On Carved Hardwood Stand. The Porcelain potted in water pot, bell shaped body, deep curvature, of a deep vessel, round straight upward to form the small opening rim, short neck, with round flat foot base rim. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of abundant flower blossom, foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue seal script characters reign mark. Made in The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
