Stoutly carved Chinese glass unto thick, cylindrical straight body, close round lip, raised with ring foot base slight concave. The interior, exterior are both covered in yellow color, carved with flowers bloom interspersed foliage, rocky rock, scrolling ruyi and thrashing Lishui waves. Peking glass originated in 18th century China during the rule of the Qing Dynasty. Historically, many pieces of Peking glass were made with yellow glass dubbed Imperial Yellow, due to the colors strong association with the Qing Imperial. It is outstanding in terms of artistic aesthetics and collection value.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a four carved seal script characters reign mark, enclosed within square line. Made in The Years Daoguang Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
