The porcelain potted in reward shape vase, thick and tall, ovoid lower body, tapered gracefully toward straight tall cylindrical neck, with straight mouth rim, raised on a short small round foot base with slight concave. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in masterfully covered in an even coat of a iron red glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white under glaze. The red glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. The foot rim reveals the cut edges during the making process, and the receded central interior base left white under glaze. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned. Mark on base, a six under glazed blue seal script characters reign mark, Made In The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
