(227) Pair Old China Fruit BowlsDimensions: Width: 22cm, Height: 23cmPair of Chinese Republic Period Famille Rose Porcelain Lidded Jars. Potted with a cylindrical straight vessel, short neck, flaring round mouth lip with flat dome lid, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against famille rose design color, depicted of elders seating in front table. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim. Made in The Years Reign Period of The Republic Period.
