A Chinese wucai fishbowl dating from the 19th century. The body features four framed scenes of flowers with birds, which are set against a red ground with white floral tracery. The foot has a stylized leaf band, and geometric bands encircle the upper body. The bottom has a mark reading "Made in China." Dimensions are: 16 inches tall X 18 inches in diameter, 40.6 cm X 45.7 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in overall good condition with a few minuscule chips throughout and a star crack to the interior. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
