A Chinese celadon plate with underglaze blue decoration and with a 6-character mark of Jiajing and of the period. The interior features three phoenixes surrounding a sun. Dimensions are: 1 1/2 inches tall X 7 1/2 inches in diameter, 3.8 cm X 19.1 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in poor condition with a crack to the bottom and a star crack to the rim. The whole exterior has been overpainted. The rim has chips, and the interior has glaze chips and glaze defects. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
