A Chinese yellow-ground table runner dating from the early 19th century. The textile features two dragons holding flaming pearls over wave and rock motifs with Buddhist objects. The runner has a yellow border with luck coin designs. Dimensions are: the sight area of the runner excluding the border measures 56 1/2 inches tall X 15 3/4 inches wide, 143.5 cm X 40 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is significant overall age wear, including significant staining, fading, and loose threads. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
