元代时期风格，此瑞兽为和田白玉质，温润细腻，带黄沁。圆雕件，兽坐蹲状，昂首挺胸，目视前方，圆眼，如意形鼻，双耳内卷，独角，胸前、腰部及背部均饰月牙纹，以示肌肉饱满，四足刻画具体，尾分两绺上翘贴背，上琢整齐阴线。整器雕琢手法写实，瑞兽身体部位比例协调，刻工通过对瑞兽姿态的拿捏，呈现出温顺祥和的氛围，背部至腹部有一贯穿孔，可供穿系佩挂。参考：《北京文物精粹大系玉器卷》P59
