玉炉顶即香炉盖之钮，亦可用作帽顶等随身装饰。宋、元时多见，常见者管钻镂空配以多层透雕，玲珑剔透，画意盎然。此件为白玉质，带有黄沁，温润细腻，多层透雕云龙纹。龙张口露齿，卷云状鼻，嘴角不超过眼角，细阴线浓眉压眼，鹿角状角，脑后毛发呈三股状飘拂，斜方格纹龙鳞，腿上有毛，腿小径露筋露骨，五爪。龙昂首盘曲，穿梭于花卉之间，底部椭圆微凹，琢两对牛穿孔。
