虎为白玉质，油润细腻，作提油处理。圆雕一虎，呈爬伏状，目视前方，脸部刻画生动，四肢紧收，腿部肌肉线条饱满。整体圆润饱满，线条流畅，背部有一圆形穿孔，可供穿系佩挂。玉虎在古代能能祛邪避害，汉代《风俗通祀典》记述：“虎者阳物，百兽之长也，能执搏挫锐，噬食鬼魅”，亦是权利的象征，古代老虎的形象多出现在调动部队的虎符与象征地位的玉璜上，考古出土最著名的周秦铜虎符有杜虎符、阳陵虎符等。参考：《北京文物精粹大系玉器卷》P133
