An Attic red-figure lekythos, Ca. 480-460 BC, Greece, Decorated with Pegasus flying to right. On the shoulder in black-figure are five linked palmettes with a zone of bars above; below a band of meander. Possibly by the Bowdoin painter. H 18.7 cm, Condition: some professional repair and restauration. -Collection of Art Historian Prof. Dr. Albert Blankert, The Hague. -Purchased in 2001 at Archea Ancient Art (Amsterdam). -Prior to 2001 in a private Belgian collection.
