琮温润细腻，受沁，沁色美观丰富。器截面为方形，肩方角柔，四面宽窄适中，短射，最宽处与琮面平，孔内光直，器面光素无纹，代表着当时高超的工艺水平。玉琮为“六器”之一，《周礼.大宗伯》中记载“以苍璧礼天，以黄琮礼地”，璧和琮象征着天圆地方，是重要的祭祀礼仪用玉。玉琮以其大气端庄的艺术魅力及厚重的年代感，自古备受嗜玉者喜爱。配有盖和座。整体造型古朴，器型规整，素雅大方，尽显古拙雅趣。
