释惟安（1546～1625），黄山文殊院、慈光寺等名刹的创建者，俗姓奚，明代陕西郿县人，道号云亭，自号普门，惟安为其法号，幼年贫苦。受戒后遍叩佛门众宗师，30余年往来于少林、五台、普陀诸大道场。明万历三十四年（1606）感梦入黄山，创法海禅院。万历三十八（1610）游京师，万历皇帝及李太后、郑贵妃、太子先后赐佛牙、七级四面金佛、金经、金钵杖、紫衣，敕建护国慈光寺。万历四十一年（1613）登文殊台，秋九月十四日登天都。天启五年（1625）圆寂于清源乘愿禅林，后辇骨黄山，建塔于慈光寺后。其为人清苦，自撰行迹，始终不倦于黄山寺院、道路的兴建，被誉为“黄山的开发者”。
