Handgeformt aus niedrig gebrannter Keramik (Terracotta). Die in Kontrapost (tribhanga) stehende Dame ist mit einem leichten Tuch und einer Kette um die Hüften bekleidet, sie trägt Schmuck und hinter ihrem Kopf ist eine Mandorla. Höhe 44,5cm. Zustand A/B.

India. Gupta period. 5th/6th c.
Low-fired ceramic (terracotta), formed by hand. The lady standing in contrapost (tribhanga) is dressed with a light scarf and a chain around her hips, she wears jewellery and behind her head is a mandorla. Height 44,5cm. Condition A/B.
