China, 1662-1722. Naturalistic openwork carving in the shape of a hollowed pine tree trunk with a flaring rim, gnarled twisting branches of pine forming the handle at the rear of the vessel, the wood of a warm honey tone.

Condition: Very good condition with few tiny age cracks, some wear and traces of use, fine natural patina.
