A YELLOW JADE SNUFF BOTTLE AND MATCHING SNUFF DISH
China, 1750-1820. Very well hollowed and with an unctuous polish, this bottle charms with its superb color, a deep yellow green with two small inclusions, one white and the other russet. The dish bears the same color with a single russet cloud emerging from the well.

Provenance: From a French private collection.
Condition: Superb condition with only minor wear, one small chip to lip of bottle smoothened.

Stopper: Coral cabochon finely carved to depict a celestial eye fish in high relief on a turquoise platelet, nice old spoon
Weight: 82.1 grams (the bottle and stopper) and 29.8 grams (the snuff dish)
Dimensions: Height including stopper 7.1 mm. Diameter neck 18 mm and mouth 6 mm. The dish with a diameter of 57 mm.

The carving depicts a carp amid lotus flowers, buds, vines and leaves, all in light relief and fine incision work. The inclusions have been cleverly used to highlight certain areas of the design. Both the bottle and the vessel bear broad foot rims and recessed bases. (2)

黃玉鼻烟壺及配對鼻烟小碟
中國，1750-1820。掏膛極好，表面光滑潤澤，顔色深黃綠色，兩塊小内沁斑，一塊白色一塊赤褐色。小碟子相同色澤，在碟中有一塊赤褐色内沁。

品相：一流，儘些微磨損，壺唇処有一平滑的小磕損。
