A SILHOUETTE AGATE ‘MONKEYS’ SNUFF BOTTLE
China, Official School, 1750-1850. The translucent bottle of fine honey color with darker layer cleverly used to depict two monkeys chasing butterflies in slight relief. Well-polished, raised oval foot and good hollowing.

Provenance: From an English private collection.
Condition: Excellent condition with only minor natural flaws to stone.
