A Gandhara silvery schist architectural fragment. Pakistan. Probably 2nd/3rd century The Buddha sits in meditation underneath pipal leaves, his left hand resting on his knee while securing a part of his robe with his right hand, he is surrounded by four men wearing turbans and holding their hands folded in prayer, above them a figure.
