A group of Luristan bronze objects, 12th-8th century B.C., North West Iran, comprising a bronze armlet formed of ribbed band with deer finials, two bronze pendant figurines in the form of long-horned ibex, two bronze vessels, one with broad cylindrical neck, everted rim and horizontal ribbing below the shoulder, and the other with carinated body tapering to a narrow foot and a bell, vessels 9.5cm. and 8cm. high, bracelet 8.1cm. diam. (5) Provenance: Acquired by Eric Crowe, son of diplomat Sir Eyre Crowe (1864-1925), when he was posted to Tehran as a British diplomat between 1939-41 and thence by descent to Sir Brian Crowe (1938-2020) and family.
