An Egyptian bronze feather from an atef crown surmounting a horn, Late Period to Ptolemaic, 664-30 B.C., the feather surface inlaid with most of the blue glass rods remaining, several of bright cobalt blue, a rearing uraeus adjoining the feather, inlaid with red faience paste and glass, surmounted by a sun disc, a tang remains on the feather for attachment, a loop on the underside of the horn, 10.7cm Provenance: Private Collection of Werner Forman (1921-2010) .
