Characteristic work of the Austrian painter and composer, who preferred to focus on coastal landscapes, rural genre scenes and hunting motifs in a nuanced, atmospheric painting style; the artist was oriented, among others, on Diez's naturalistic style and was close to the Dachau artists' colony.
