ART NOUVEAU - KETTLE / TEAPOT, copper, brass and ebonized wood, manufactory Euard Hueck, Lüdenscheid, DESIGN ALBIN MÜLLER 1903 (also Albinmülller, Dittersbach 1871-1941 Darmstadt), pot exhibited at the World's Fair in St. Louis 1904. Under the stand inscribed "Eudard Hueck", model no. "2021" and with the artist's signature of Albin Müller (AM in a square). On profiled round stand ring bulged and conical wall with incurved shoulder and slightly flared opening ring; the lower wall decorated with deepened meander frieze décor "running dog". Profiled lid (with secondary pommel). Curved long scoop, reinforced and decorated with an openwork three-pass brass element. Large curved and fluted brass handle, slightly offset from the center, with anatomically curved wooden grip; the slight asymmetry allows a balanced, ideal handling. (Lit.: Cf. page 241 in: Karl H.
