LARGE TULIP VASE, ceramics with light brown to gold patinated bronze decorations, marked according to brand and ware of Saargemünd manufactory, probably China, 2nd half of 20th century. Ivory to light gray body with crackled glaze and blue painting: flowers (including peonies), vases and birds. Pagoda shape, at the corners plastic mascarons with trumpet-shaped mouth for setting flowers / as flower holders (36 pieces); crowning stylized pine cone. Stepped pedestal on four sculpted and cornered brass lions; the vase top held up by four brass ornaments with sculpted female heads. Circular opening of the vase base with stress crack due to fire. H. 87 cm (crowning pine cone partially oxidized green).
