LEHMANN, KLAUS and PISTORIUS-LEHMANN, SIGNE, studio ceramics: "Vase", before 1964; on the wall with engraved artist's signature and under the stand on adhesive label marked "S. & K. Lehmann". Stand ring with conical and profiled wall and slightly flared mouth. H. 29,5 cm; D. 6 cm. In 1955 Klaus Lehmann and Signe Pistorius-Lehmann (married since 1954) founded their own workshop in Hornsmühle in the Odenwald, which they ran until 1964. In 1989 Klaus Lehmann awarded the prize for ceramic sculpture in the competition for the Westerwald Prize in Höhr-Grenzhausen and in 1991 he receives the first prize in Offenburg on the occasion of the exhibition 'Contemporary Ceramics 1991'.
