PORCELAIN FIGURE GROUP: Gallant pair, porcelain, German, 1st half of 20th century, Thuringian manufactory, probably Volkstedt (Rudolstadt); marked "N under crown", actually Naples / Italy (expired in 1834), but the mark was used by Plaue, Volkstedt and Plaue manufactories for export to Italy. Polychrome painted. Couple of fully sculpted figures in historical costumes on oval natural pedestal with anbossed sculpted flowers and leaves. Couple (nobleman and noblewoman) walking in intimate embrace on flower meadow. H. 37 x W. 18 x D. 11 cm. (Staffage partially rubbed).
