LARGE SPANISH HISTORIC SILVER BOWL, circa 1880. Spain. 1148 grams. Marked by master mark "Ramón Espunes / Madrid", Dutch import mark, plastered or smitten hallmark and Madrid city hallmark with year - probably 1881 or 1901. Deep round bowl with flared rim on round stand. Curved rim with relief decoration of foliage and geometric motifs. Inner wall guilloched and decorated with large monogram cartouche. H. 9.5 cm, D. 40 cm. (Signs of use; several bumps and dents; guilloche rubbed).
