after KAUBA, CARL (1865-1922) - SCULPTURE / VIENNESE BRONZE : INDIAN, probably 2nd half of 20th century, patinated bronze sculpture on natural stone pedestal. Signed "Curts"; Carl Kauba made sculptures under the pseudonym "T. Curts" - but here signed only "Curts". Posthumous modern cast. Further with foundry stamp "Thenn / Copyright Vienna" and inscribed "Gesetzl Geschützt". Detailed full figure of a standing Indian with his right hand resting on his rifle and his left hand peering into the distance. Indians were among Carl Kauba's favorite motifs.
