DINNENDAHL, HANS (1901 Krefeld - 1966 Telgte), Relief: "Mary with the Christ Child", iron, black patinated, worked as a high relief with recessed lettering. The architect and sculptor Dinnendahl designed the relief in 1949; in addition to the cast iron version, there are also bronze casts with workshop mark / foundry mark "Hofheimer Werkkunst". H. 21 x W. 16,5 x D. ca. 3,5 cm. Dinnendahl studied at the Munich School of Applied Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich; 1933 represented at the World's Fair in Chicago; from 1936 promoted by the Bishop of Münster Clemens August Graf von Galen; 1939 destruction of his main work in the Warendorf cemetery by the Nazis; after the war, complete decoration of the Episcopal Chapel in Münster.
