SILVER CLOCK IN THE SHAPE OF A CROSS WITH MASONIC SYMBOLS, hand-sawn openwork, the face designed with Christ on the cross, flanked by kneeling angels and vines, angels with sword or lance and another angel. In the center mounted pocket watch; behind domed dust glass and surrounded by cordell bezel the enameled dial with Roman numerals and outer minute scale. The back with unengraved free coat of arms cartouche, other heraldic motifs, inscribed "Vincere Aut Mori" (Win or die) and masonic symbolism such as "All-seeing eye", circle, angle and columns; the columns monogrammed "B" and "J". Large moveable lug with three-strand silver watch chain (hallmark illegibly chipped / plastered) with two cartouches with horse head motifs. Winding movement with key; watch runs on short time test; D. Movement 2,9 cm. Measures cross without eyelet: h. 7.9 x w. 6 cm x d. 1 cm. Total length with chain 41 cm (ring clasp defect).
