A pearlware teapot and cover c.1800 of globular wrythen moulded form with a raised collar and loop handle, blue glazed and bearing the verse 'Health in body, Peace in mind, A Good dish of tea, And a man to my mind' and decorated with famille rose palette sprigs handle to spout 20.5 cm., height 15.5 cm Condition: Restoration to raised collar in three places. The handle has also been repaired. The restoration is not of good quality and has discoloured. The handle has been well used and the glaze is worn. and the handle appears grubby. The cover has some loss to the enamel on the tip of the finial.
