Two early 20th century Chinese cloisonnŽ enamel covered jars and a Japanese Meiji period cloisonnŽ enamel charger the jars of cylinder form, lids fitted with gilt brass chi-chi finials, each decorated with dense flowers one against a dark green ground, the other light, second decorated with three birds in flight, roses and bamboo sprays, stylised butterfly border, (3) first height 19.5 cm., charger diameter 39.5 cm Condition: Light green ground jar has slight loss to edge of one cover, other jar in good condition. The charger has some hairline crack to centre. Slight buckle. to rim with some small areas of enamel loss to border in this area.,Reverse with slightly larger enamel loss in the same area
