Two original illustrated cover designs for the July 9 1987 issue of Cycling Weekly commemorating the 20th anniversary of cyclist Tom Simpson's death, the first design showing Simpson winning the World Championships in 1965, being the cover design chosen for the issue, and the second unpublished design showing Simpson during the World Championships on a solo breakaway followed by his team car, in coloured pen on paper, mounted on glazed paper, (2) mount size approx. 36 x 29cm Condition: The drawings are in good condition commensurate with age, some signs of creasing and marking to the mounts.
