A jade carved disc pendant, dating from the Han dynasty (206 BCE-220 CE). Jade a smokey white color with interesting inclusions of dark brown in areas. Curved scroll-like design throughout the front of disc, carved in low relief. A design of small circular raised bumps on reverse side.D. 2 3/4" (7 cm) Provenance: collection of Bernard Mannes Baruch( 1870-1965) New York Condition: good condition overall for age and use,the "front" of disk has had some some scattered chips and small divots to areas of the design.
