A Chinese jade carved ink stone, dating from the Qing dynasty. Stone is rectangular inshape with rounded edges. A flat, smooth rectangular area below a carved shallow well. The curved borders have carved carved design.come with a custom fitted wood base Stone: H. 6 1/8" (15.5 cm), W. 4" (10.1 cm) collection of Dr. Frank Cabrin, East Orange, New Jersey Condition: good condition overall for age and use. some surface wear and inclusion on the stone and some splitting to the wooden base.
