A Chinese spinach jade carved finial, Warring State period., approx. 3rd century BC. The finial is slender and has two sides, one smooth and one decorated. The vertical finial is attached to a metal pin, with 5 sides. Engraved side features a scrolling circular motif. The metal pin extends through the jade to the top. Overall: 2 1/8" (5.4 cm), Carved Jade finial: 1 1/4" (3.1 cm) Condition: good condition overall for age and use. Age wear to metal pin attached to jade finial.
