HENNAGE ACQUISITION FUND A LARGE FAMILLE-VERTE DEEP ROUNDED 'WARRIOR AND PRESENTATION' BOWLKangxi period The exterior painted in rich enamels in a continuous scene with a group of brightly-robed soldiers in a rocky garden landscape carrying banners, spears and swords and led by a warrior on horseback approaching a supplicant kneeling figure with arms reaching forward and hands held together, before the figure are two male attendants making offerings of rice and a leg of pork, the center of the interior with three boys and an elegant lady before an altar table, one boy lighting a cracker, and each of the boys covering their ears for protection from the explosion, the lady also cupping one of the boys ears, the well plain and a wide band below the rim of six alternate cartouches of flowers on various diaper cell grounds. 12 3/16in (31cm) diam; 6 1/16in (15.4cm) high 清康熙時期 五彩人物紋大盌 Provenance: Ralph M.
