PROPERTY FROM THE YIP FAMILY COLLECTION A BLUE AND WHITE AND GILT DECORATED BOTTLE VASEKangxi period Based on an Islamic prototype, the waisted foot embellished with gilt and supporting a pear-shaped body decorated with four bulb-form palmette-like medallions flanked by gilt bat and chime swags under stiff bands and abstract blossoms at the shoulder and neck separated by gilt bands under a chocolate brown band near the floral accented rim. 8 7/8in (22.5cm) high 清康熙時期 青花描金瓷瓶 Provenance: Purchased in the 1960's and 70's, by repute; in the family collection prior to 1978 來源: 傳家族購于二十世紀六十至七十年代,1978年前已入藏 This shape bears close relation to the rose water pourers of the 17th century.
