A 'GHOST EYES' BAMBOO BRUSHPOT, BITONG, 17TH - 18TH CENTURY Of slightly waisted form, naturalistically carved with horizontal grooves and otherwise left undecorated in appreciation of the appealing grain and color. The warm honey-brown patina is reminiscent of dreamstones and shows several distinct 'ghost eyes'.

Provenance: Scandinavian private collection. Nagel, Stuttgart, 10 November 2001, lot 2310 (invoice lost). An important South German private collection, acquired from the above.
Condition: Very good condition with minor wear, few small nicks, light scratches, minor age cracks and other natural flaws. Super naturally grown patina overall.

十七至十八世紀鬼眼紋竹節形筆筒
此竹節筆筒，仿竹節造型，以竹節做筒身，筒身有八道凹弦紋。素面無裝飾，溫暖的蜜褐色光澤，局部有著“鬼眼”紋。

來源：斯堪地納維亞私人收藏，斯圖加特Nagel拍賣行，2001年11月10日，lot 2310 (發票遺失)。一個德國南部重要私人收藏，購於上述拍賣行。
品相：狀況極好，輕微磨損、少量小劃痕、輕微老化裂縫和其他自然缺陷。整體包漿自然。
