This lot may have appeared in Dallas, then disappeared, now it's back again.These porcelain candle holders are of baluster form and supported by two crouching dogs on a rectangular tray base, which would catch any drops of wax. Antiques in themselves, and perhaps by Samson in France, they were designed in the style of a late 18th/early 19th century pair made in China. They stand eight and a quarter inches high and are in excellent condition, with no damage.
