此类小执壶又称“水注”，应是古代文人磨墨时用来装水、滴水的文具，注水于砚面供研墨之用。执壶小巧可人，在方寸之间集造型、模印、捏塑等多种工艺于一体，精工细作，在每个细节上都着力体现。壶身模印饰以莲瓣纹，模印清晰流畅，纹饰饱满灵动，胎体轻薄，质地细洁。通体罩施影青釉，晶莹纯净，似水如冰，方见设计者的精巧用心。细观其壶口边缘，设曲流附弧柄，与壶身莲瓣相得益彰，构想奇特。整器胎釉俱佳，形美工精，品相完整，可谓同类器中精品。
