炉平口外撇，束颈鼓腹，呈簋式，造型大气磅礡，比例规整敦厚，薄口坠腹，重心偏下，圈足外撇，显得沈稳厚实。炉肩两侧饰双狮耳，狮首威严，凸目宽鼻，额头凸出，鬃毛毕现。整器造型古朴典雅，铜色细腻均匀，色泽光润，金光内蕴，抚之微亮，幽光灿然，包浆醇厚，轻叩之，音韵佳妙，回音连绵，不绝如缕，袅袅悠长。压手感，能镇一方斋堂，是极为大气的文房用炉。本品铸造完成之后，再精工修治双耳。内膛也修治匀净，气势恢宏，炉底铸有“宣德五年工部官吴邦佐监造”十二字楷书款，运刀如笔，铸刻深峻，规矩有度，似拙实巧，功力十足，气韵非凡。十二字款甚为难得，乃殿堂之上等香道器皿也。
