A group of 11 coloured costume plates from Octavian Dalvimart, The Costume of Turkey, 1802 for William Miller by J. Dadley and W. Poole after Dalvimart; and four hand coloured plates, the first by A.V.D. Laan 1727, Emir chef des descendans de Mahomet; the second and third by B. Piart 1714, Le Grand Seigneur en habit de Ceremonie le jour de Beiram; and La Sultane Asseki ou Sultane Reine; and Jacob Folkema 1737, Le Bairam ou la Paque des Mahometans, all mounted (15) Dalvimart is known to have been in Turkey in 1798, where he executed the drawings for these plates.
